It's understandable, but I still get frustrated with it. Well - maybe 'scared' is a better word. I don't want to make a mistake like that again, that leads to people being hurt and traumatized.
Pain and trauma are not always avoidable. You made a mistake. You have dedicated yourself to learn from it. Maybe they are scared. That's because they haven't lived in your world.
