From what Katsuki knows, because he himself is just as egotistical, people don't call themselves things like that if they didn't have the strength to back it up. I'm usually a pro when it comes to using it. But my fighting style relies heavily on both of my hands.
[To demonstrate, Katsuki lifts his left hand above his head and after a second where the palm and pads of his fingers glow-- he blows off a moderate explosion straight into the air. The wind blowing everyone's hair (and fur) back.]
...I can make explosions. And I use them not only to attack, but to move on the battlefield too. They're like jet engines that make me faster, and help me fly... but a plane can't fly with only one engine.
So now I have to fight with my wings clipped. And I ain't getting used to it.
[And it sucks. He's been losing every sparring match with Shoto, so far.]
[It's saying a lot when it's Katsuki who's subtle... If he knew any better, Shoto might navigate things with a little more tact; but an evasive maneuvering's never crossed his mind. Omission's never earned the best results. A teacher needs the whole truth; nevermind how he's specially adept at ignoring Katsuki himself. His glare holds zero effect... Though maybe it helps somewhat how the reward shrinks the risk. In any case, it's desperation what has him ask in first place, and at his own shame's expense.

[Explosions. Jet engines that he could use with his hands for combat as well as advanced mobility. He thinks for a moment, listening to the two of them as they speak. For Shoto, learning control was one thing. It was quite easy honestly. Learning to sharpen skills to a scalpel rather than an explosion. To hone his ability to use ice and fire as a surgical strike.
This was overcoming what once was. It was different yet he could think of a few things. His red eyes flicker to the door as he thinks about his own shoes and back at Bakugo.]
Are you only able to create these explosions with your hands? Not your feet?
[When Katsuki is asked if he's able to create explosions out of his feet, he shakes his head no. Unfortunately, that'd just be too damn easy for him if that were the case wouldn't it?]
Only my hands. I have special sweat glands in them that produces the nitroglycerin, that aren't anywhere else on my body.
[Katsuki holds his hand out to show, the bottom of it rough and calloused from years and years of exploding. He clenches it a little bit, causing explosive sweat to secrete out of the glands on demand.]
There... is something new about it that could, theoretically, make it so I can use my feet. But it's something I don't have a grasp on, yet. I haven't had a chance to properly try it out after it developed.
[He shakes the sweat off his hand, and instead of waiting for someone to ask what that new thing was, he decides to just explain it now.]
Back home I had almost died, and when I was in that brink-of-death state my body started going nuts. My Quirk was activating like crazy and producing more nitroglycerin than I could use-- or maybe I was forcing it to without realizing it. I can't remember the exact details, but either way it started to back up into my system and pour out of the other sweat glands on my body. I became an all-over bomb.

It has me wondering if I can figure out how to direct the sweat to specific areas, somehow.
[But that would take a LOT of training. A lot of really risky, and dangerous training. Overworking his Quirk on purpose like that isn't the safest thing to do, and he's not sure if it'd be smart with his arm how it is right now to try.]
